The longest RCA in History

At least by my account. Here is my story as I see it....I joined the postal service around 14 or 15 or 100 years ago...I forget as time goes by. I waited for the oldest guy to die or retire which ever came first. He finally did retire 3 years ago....I was happy thought Oh great now I can be a regular...get paid time off...paid sick day's affordable health insurance....You know the works, the American Dream......But after chasing the rabbit and playing the part of a wolf....Rules change which seem to change a second before I could get regular.....The route needs to remain open to use as a buffer for automation.....For just some fun points to ponder would be....The union here in our county is run by a regular in our office who also holds a seat on the Executive Committee. He also holds the title of our office Stewart. Who insists it is not his fault it is on the national level. Do I have something to rant about? Yes I feel like a pee-on.....If you are just starting to join the union think twice......save your money till you get in trouble then join....pocket that money and invest more in the lottery....You have a better chance of changing things if you win! So with this being said....I feel better for the day. Right now there is a count going on....It's a time where every piece of mail, package, step of work we do gets evaluated down to the second, and they try to cut (Postal Service) the carriers pay, It really is a freaking joke.....They should do a count on the management level...Not the little person doing all the work and not making the big bucks as some might seem......How is your count going......Here is a place to rant and rave about your job!
