1. 2. 3. Still In The Count

Wow this group is really taking off, try as I may I will answer your E-mails in the order that they are received...I put the vice-peon in charge of this but she too is like so over whelmed in it all. Soon the count shall be behind us and we shall see how bad management screwed us this time. What I saw being your #1 peon is for sure.....that being a RCA and not knowing can really hurt you...but what is worse is not questioning what you might not know. See here in this photo, it would look like just a priority box.. but it also is a delivery confirmation that needs to be scanned.(can also be on a priority envelope)...for that you get credit....not noticing it you don't, plus your office gets a f*ck up, which also sucks.
Expresses shall becoming in disguised so keep your eyes open....like the Eagle. Just a little info being passed your way....hope it helps. And even thou management doesn't tell you.....Keep up the good work you have been doing!!!

Two More Weeks oF Count

I think it is going pretty good for our route. It was counted last year and under counted as the smallest route in our office, which is utterly ridickulus {spelling is ment to be that way} With more businesses, and heavy traffic for that rural area. The time is adjusted to come in half a hour later and finish a hour sooner than the other routes, You have non stop work, with barely time to pee, UGH!! So I hope this straightens out. Saturday we had phonebooks with detached labels, postcard size. They counted as 2 box holders. Never in the history of our office did we ever have to take them out in one day......It was equivalent to a TON of wieght. Box holder my ass.....Those phonebooks were thicker than all of the box holders we take out all week long. They should have been listed as a flat! The size of a thick magazine like the O magazine, thicker than People, Time or Life put together......I think it was another way for the postal service to screw us......with out getting any pleasure out of it......Thank God only 2 more weeks till te end of count then all can see how bad or hopefully good they have done. Remember to hold onto your mail on windy days and that will help with having to get out to pick up a freaking detached label!!

The longest RCA in History

At least by my account. Here is my story as I see it....I joined the postal service around 14 or 15 or 100 years ago...I forget as time goes by. I waited for the oldest guy to die or retire which ever came first. He finally did retire 3 years ago....I was happy thought Oh great now I can be a regular...get paid time off...paid sick day's affordable health insurance....You know the works, the American Dream......But after chasing the rabbit and playing the part of a wolf....Rules change which seem to change a second before I could get regular.....The route needs to remain open to use as a buffer for automation.....For just some fun points to ponder would be....The union here in our county is run by a regular in our office who also holds a seat on the Executive Committee. He also holds the title of our office Stewart. Who insists it is not his fault it is on the national level. Do I have something to rant about? Yes I feel like a pee-on.....If you are just starting to join the union think twice......save your money till you get in trouble then join....pocket that money and invest more in the lottery....You have a better chance of changing things if you win! So with this being said....I feel better for the day. Right now there is a count going on....It's a time where every piece of mail, package, step of work we do gets evaluated down to the second, and they try to cut (Postal Service) the carriers pay, It really is a freaking joke.....They should do a count on the management level...Not the little person doing all the work and not making the big bucks as some might seem......How is your count going......Here is a place to rant and rave about your job!
